朝鮮語 語源 송 (song)（松（まつ）） + 편 (pyeon)（떡 (tteok)の丁寧語＝お餅あるいはお団子） 製造過程で蒸し釜の下に敷く松葉にちなんで、松のお餅あるいはお団子と表現した命名。 発音 IPA(?): /sʰo̞ŋpʰjʌ̹n/ ハングルでの音声表記: 송편 名詞 송편 (songpyeon)（国字表記: 松䭏） 韓国の節句秋夕（추석（チュソク））で伝統的に作られる떡（餅あるいは団子）の一種。新穀（しんこく）のうるち米（まい）の粉（こな）を練って適当な大きさにちぎり、胡麻・小豆・大豆・緑豆・栗などの餡を入れ、半月（はんげつ）形（けい）や二枚貝形（がた）にして松葉（まつば）を敷いた蒸し釜で蒸して作る。 작년 추석에는 가족과 함께 송편을 빚었다.: 昨年の秋夕（チュソク）には家族と一緒に松䭏（ソンピョン）を拵えた。

Songpyeon (송편, 松䭏) is a traditional Korean food made of rice powder. Its shape resembles a half moon and it is a representative rice cake of Korean holidays and traditional culture. It is a type of tteok, small rice cakes, and variety of fillings are used-- some include red bean paste, toasted sesame seeds, and chestnuts. Songpyeon is traditionally eaten during the Korean autumn harvest festival, Chuseok, where it is often prepared by families at home. It is a popular symbol of traditional Korean culture. The earliest records of songpyeon date from the Goryeo period.
