韭菜（学名：Allium tuberosum），韭菜所在的蔥屬經過調整，已由原先的百合科搬到石蒜科，是石蒜科蔥屬的多年生草本植物，叢生，葉細長而扁，開小白花。韭菜又稱起陽子，葉和花嫩時可以食用。韭菜採收容易，可用於園藝，在世界廣泛種植，并在一些國家被列為入侵植物。有佛教五葷、道教五葷等宗教信仰要求素食者不食用韭菜。韭菜自古傳統歸類為葷食。五辛，一般指葱蒜薤韭和兴渠。而所謂植物五辛素則不忌植物五辛，如韭菜等。
