Interjection ㅎㅎ • (hh) (Internet slang, text messaging) haha, lol; used to represent laughter, or simply added to soften the tone of the message Synonym: ㅋㅋㅋ (kkk) Usage notes ㅎㅎ has a softer and more polite tone than ㅋㅋㅋ and is more commonly in somewhat formal contexts. ㅎㅎ is more likely to be included "just for the sake of it" or to make the tone more friendly, whereas ㅋㅋㅋ is more likely to represent actual laughter. Unlike ㅋ, it is rather uncommon to repeat ㅎ more than three times.

ㆅは、ハングルを構成する子音字母のひとつ。現在は使用されない古いハングル字母であり、ㅎを重ねて作られている。呼称はサンヒウッ（쌍히읗）。/ㅎ/[h]の硬音を表したと推定されている。世祖以後（15世紀中葉）には表記法の変化により使用されなくなった。
