中国語 名詞 馒 头( (繁): 饅頭 mántóu ) 点心の一種。小麦粉に酵母を加えて発酵させた後、蒸して作る蒸しパン。日本の饅頭（まんじゅう）のルーツになったといわれる。現在は一般的に中に餡や具のないものを指し、餡や具を包んだものを包子という。
