էօの説明
Armenian Etymology Formed by analogy with իւ (iw) using the two dialectological letters for mid vowels. Pronunciation IPA(key): [œ] Letter էօ • (ēō) A letter formerly used in Armenian dialectology, nowadays usually written as օ̈ (ö). Represents the open-mid front rounded vowel: [œ]. Transliterated as ö. Usage notes Outside of dialectology, this letter combination is also used in traditional Armenian orthography to represent the [œ] sound in borrowings from Turkic and other languages with [œ] and [ø]-like sounds; for example, Քարակէօզեան (Kʿarakēōzean), Քէօշկէրեան (Kʿēōškērean), էօտ աղաճը (ēōt ałačə), Էօժէնի (Ēōžēni), Քէօլն (Kʿēōln).
